Vs Sandhurst cupA thrilling cup game was the order of the day, with both teams looking for a kick start to their season.
Both teams looked lively and bright in the opening 20 mins, end to end stuff and a few chances at both ends going begging.
Sandhurst took the lead around the 30 min slightly against t the run of play, the invincibles kept their heads as Sandhurst now looking the most sharpest kept coming forward.
With both teams making the odd mistake it all added to a great first half.
The second half saw the invincibles start the brightest, but once again some great end to end football with the odd howler form both saides, and some great football.
The invincilbes scored an equaliser from a great move which saw Marcus crossing the ball to Steven Field who then coolly pass his marker to slot the ball in the net.
Now things were even and if not for the two goal keepers the score line would have fitted a rugby game.
In the end sandhurst scrapped the win with some not so great defending from everyone lead to their second and winning goal.
Tempers flared towards the end with some very unsporting time wasting going on, And a few uncalled for comments by the opposing teams member of staff.
The referee was in a good position and lets hope the report will help to stamp this kind of unprovoked verbal attacks happening again, as it is not an isolated incident, the same happening last year aswell.
Even though the invincibles lost today, the team can be proud of their performance, Work still needs to be done in certain area but today saw a team playing together.
The invincibles can take this into their game game and now look forward to some fine games ahead.
