This week saw the invincibles play at the ground of the seniors in front of a record crowd of around 50 and 5 pigeons.
Playing on a full size pitch took its toll not only on the players but on phils vocal cords aswell.
Playing bottom of the league is never going to be an easy game as pride and points are very much high on the stakes, however the boys never let us down putting in a convincing performance.
The match finished 8-1 in favour of us even though the score line seems so high credit must be given to fleet town blues for not giving up and giving their all right to the final whistle.
The match was a well played and clean affair although one of players must have had something better to do with his Sunday afternoon as he was desperate to be sent for an early bath, but some quick thinking from phil saw the player swapped. After he seemed to clam now (must have been those buckets of water the subs chucked over him, or the threat of having his Easter egg taken away) he came back on and showed us what he could do when he let his feet and mind do the talking.
All in all a good result which keeps us on the promotion trail.
